There are many types of wall fans including oscillating, ceiling, many different widths, and multiple speed wall fans. Some features of wall fans include multiple speed control, three aluminum blades, high or low efficient motors, and concentrated output. Each industrial wall fan measures its output by cubic feet per minute or CFM's for instance a three-way wall fan might put out 620 CFM's on the low setting, 780 CFM on the medium setting, and 930 CFM's on high. Or with a blade diameter of 20 inches can push 2940 CFM's on low 3330 on medium and 3670 CFM's on the high mode. So all wall fans were not created equal.
When purchasing a wall fan you should also keep in mind its weight for you are suspending this may be possibly from drywall and stud. The weights of wall fans and varying from a few pounds up to and exceeding 35 pounds.
Some applications for wall fan use are the following:
- Offices
- stores
- Garages
- Warehouses
- Any industrial space that needs powerful air circulation.
